Originally qualifying as a Chartered Auctioneer & Estate Agent having been articled to local surveyors & valuers, Malcom is a true entrepreneur. He has additional and diverse business interests throughout his career, including nursing homes, restaurants, publishing interests and Southern England’s first and largest corporate indoor karting centre.
Lauren spent 10 years working for numerous blue chip companies in Switzerland, New York and the City of London prior to joining the Malins Group in 2008. Lauren is focussed on the company’s long-term investment and short-term repositioning strategy; where value can be added through refurbishment, development and active management of buildings and occupiers. She drives growth via acquisition and development across both business divisions, with a passion for design, architecture and planning.
Operations Director/Company Secretary
Sandra joined the Malins Group in 2010 after working for an IT Consultancy for 7 years, with experience in Project Management, Building and Facilities Management. Sandra has responsibility for overseeing the commercial investment portfolio, project managing regeneration and development projects and management responsibility for other administrative office staff.
Matthew was appointed in 2014. A graduate in Business Administration from the University Of Bath, he subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant whilst working in a large UK practice, and is a member of the ICAEW.
Prior to joining The Malins Group he held a key financial role on the management team of a rapidly expanding Gym operator.
Matthew is responsible for the finance function and financial reporting within the group, and will also work with the team to accelerate the 10 year vision.
Sam joined The Malins Group in September 2017. After a number of years as an estate agent, he went onto work for Churchill Retirement Living for 3 and a half year as a Land Buyer, covering the South East. Sam is responsible for the acquisition of development and investment sites.
Construction and Design Assistant
Lucy graduated from her role as Business Administration Apprentice in 2014 and was immediately offered a permanent role within Development Support at The Malins Group. In 2017 Lucy acheived a diploma with The British Academy of Interior Design.
Lucy works closely with the site managers supporting the build and design functions, whilst assisting in the growth of The Malins Group Design Studio.
Lynne is an experienced business professional, having gained an extensive and wide range of skills and expertise at all levels within accounting and finance, facilities and IT, including working in the public sector together with 13 years in a legal environment.
Lynne will be responsible for providing administration and accounting support to the investment and development divisions of the group.
Naomi has spent the past 11 years working for the Daily Mail General Trust as a picture editor and photo shoots director, after an early career with Raymond Loewy Design Agency, followed by Brand Management & Design Buying for Prisma sports marketing. Naomi has a degree in Art & Design from Middlesex University and has also studied Interior Design at Salisbury College. She joins the Malins Group to oversee the creative elements and interiors of new projects, bringing to the task her keen visual eye and years of experience at managing creative projects.
