Originally qualifying as a Chartered Auctioneer & Estate Agent having been articled to local surveyors & valuers, Malcom is a true entrepreneur. He has additional and diverse business interests throughout his career, including nursing homes, restaurants, publishing interests and Southern England’s first and largest corporate indoor karting centre.
Lauren spent 10 years working for numerous blue chip companies in Switzerland, New York and the City of London prior to joining the Malins Group in 2008. Lauren is focussed on the company’s long-term investment and short-term repositioning strategy; where value can be added through refurbishment, development and active management of buildings and occupiers. She drives growth via acquisition and development across both business divisions, with a passion for design, architecture and planning.
Operations Director/Company Secretary
Sandra joined the Malins Group in 2010 after working for an IT Consultancy for 7 years, with experience in Project Management, Building and Facilities Management. Sandra has responsibility for overseeing the commercial investment portfolio, project managing regeneration and development projects and management responsibility for other administrative office staff.
Matthew was appointed in 2014. A graduate in Business Administration from the University Of Bath, he subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant whilst working in a large UK practice, and is a member of the ICAEW.
Prior to joining The Malins Group he held a key financial role on the management team of a rapidly expanding Gym operator.
Matthew is responsible for the finance function and financial reporting within the group, and will also work with the team to accelerate the 10 year vision.
Alistair joined the Malins Group in October 2016. After graduating a Property Planning and Development degree from Kingston University, he subsequently went on to work for Berkeley Homes for 4 years as a development manager, focussing on South West London.
Alistair is responsible for site acquisition and assisting both new developments and regeneration projects.
Portfolio Accounting Management
Kalie joined the Malins Group in August 2014 after working for McCarthy & Stone, a developer of privately owned retirement properties, for nearly 16 years as an accounts assistant.
Kalie is responsible for the commercial and residential investment portfolio, reconciliation of funds derived from the portfolio, agent liaison and property maintenance.
Construction and Design Assistant
Lucy graduated from her role as Business Administration Apprentice in 2014 and was immediately offered a permanent role within Development Support at The Malins Group.
Lucy works closely with the site managers supporting the build and design functions, whilst assisting in the growth of The Malins Group Design Studio and will be further developing her skills through enrolment in The British Academy of Interior Design.
Michelle spent 10 years working for numerous marketing agencies in London, overseeing marketing & advertising projects for major blue chip companies. She then spent 10 years at Hamptons in various roles, and supported a start-up property company, from inception for 15 years.
Michelle will be responsible for full office management, and the support of both the investment and development divisions, maximising her diverse experience spanning 30 years.
Naomi has spent the past 11 years working for the Daily Mail General Trust as a picture editor and photo shoots director, after an early career with Raymond Loewy Design Agency, followed by Brand Management & Design Buying for Prisma sports marketing. Naomi has a degree in Art & Design from Middlesex University and has also studied Interior Design at Salisbury College. She joins the Malins Group to oversee the creative elements and interiors of new projects, bringing to the task her keen visual eye and years of experience at managing creative projects.
