Lauren Atkins
Managing Director
Lauren has been leading the Malins Group since 2008, focused on the company’s long-term investment and short-term re-positioning strategy; where value can be added through development, regeneration and active management. She drives growth via acquisition and development, across both business divisions, with a passion for design, architecture, and planning.
Lauren is the Patron of charity Aurora New Dawn and previously held senior leadership positions at numerous blue chip companies in Switzerland, New York and the City of London.

Matthew Baker
Finance Director
Matthew was appointed in 2014. A graduate in Business Administration from the University Of Bath, he subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant whilst working in a large UK practice, and is a fellow of the ICAEW.
Prior to joining The Malins Group, he held a key financial role on the management team of a rapidly expanding Gym operator.
Matthew is responsible for the finance function and financial reporting within the Group.

Ashley leads the Commercial Property team at The Malins Group, focusing on maximising portfolio returns and driving operational efficiency. His remit includes overseeing rent reviews, lease renewals, new lettings. With many tenants in situ for over two decades, Ashley is committed to nurturing long-term, positive landlord-tenant relationships, an essential pillar of the Group’s management ethos.
A Chartered Surveyor since 2002 and a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Ashley brings nearly 25 years of experience in the UK commercial property market. His career spans Investment, Agency, and Lease Advisory, providing him with a well-rounded, strategic perspective on all aspects of real estate asset management.

Rachael is responsible for Property Management across the Residential Portfolio. She works closely with our agents and tenants to drive lettings and efficient maintenance.

ACQUISITION AND ASSET MANAGEMENT
Josh is responsible for acquisitions and the subsequent development or asset management. Josh also leads the regeneration of the legacy portfolio.

David oversees all on-site activities across the portfolio. With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, he leads both in-house and contracted builds, ensuring quality, compliance, and value. David also manages preventative maintenance strategies, statutory compliance, and remedial works. He plays a key role in procurement, contractor oversight, health & safety governance and contributes to project appraisals, cost planning, and early design review.

With over 20 years of experience in administration and coordination, Laura has developed strong expertise across finance and building services. She works closely with the Construction team and Commercial Asset Management to ensure the smooth operation of our commercial estates. Her responsibilities include project coordination and overseeing compliance across the commercial portfolio, playing a key role in maintaining operational efficiency and regulatory standards.
