Originally qualifying as a Chartered Auctioneer & Estate Agent having been articled to local surveyors & valuers; Malcom is a true entrepreneur. He has had additional and diverse business interests throughout his career, including nursing homes, restaurants, publishing interests and Southern England’s first and largest corporate indoor karting centre.

Lauren

Lauren Atkins

Managing Director

Lauren spent 10 years working for numerous blue chip companies in Switzerland, New York and the City of London prior to joining the Malins Group in 2008. Lauren is focussed on the company’s long-term investment and short-term repositioning strategy; where value can be added through refurbishment, development and active management of buildings and occupiers. She drives growth via acquisition and development, across both business divisions, with a passion for design, architecture, and planning.

Sandra

Sandra Brownlie

Operations Director/ Company Secretary

Sandra joined the Malins Group in 2010 after working for an IT Consultancy for 7 years, with experience in Project Management, Building and Facilities Management. Sandra has responsibility for project management across both regeneration and development projects, overseeing the investment portfolio, and management and operational responsibility for the group.

Matthew

Matthew Baker

Financial Controller

Matthew was appointed in 2014. A graduate in Business Administration from the University Of Bath, he subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant whilst working in a large UK practice, and is a member of the ICAEW.

Prior to joining The Malins Group he held a key financial role on the management team of a rapidly expanding Gym operator.

Matthew is responsible for the finance function and financial reporting within the group, and will also work with the team to accelerate the 10 year vision.

Lucy Edwards

Construction and Design Assistant

Lucy graduated from her role as Business Administration Apprentice in 2014, Lucy now works closely with our site managers, construction team and QS, supporting the build and design functions, and The Malins Group Design Studio.

In 2017 Lucy achieved a diploma with The British Academy of Interior Design.

KAREN

Karen Woods

Portfolio Accounts

Karen holds the AAT qualification and has full responsibility for the Sales Ledger function across the Portfolio. Karen works closely with our Financial Controller and Portfolio Manager

Business Assistant

Lisa has 14 years of cross industry experience with a broad background and knowledge in sales, marketing and commercial management. Lisa’s core responsibilities include office management, and Land acquisition support.
