Originally qualifying as a Chartered Auctioneer & Estate Agent having been articled to local surveyors & valuers; Malcom is a true entrepreneur. He has had additional and diverse business interests throughout his career, including nursing homes, restaurants, publishing interests and Southern England’s first and largest corporate indoor karting centre.

Lauren

Lauren Atkins

Managing Director

Lauren has been leading the Malins Group since 2008, focused on the company’s long-term investment and short-term re-positioning strategy; where value can be added through development, regeneration and active management. She drives growth via acquisition and development, across both business divisions, with a passion for design, architecture, and planning.
Lauren is the Patron of charity Aurora New Dawn and previously held senior leadership positions at numerous blue chip companies in Switzerland, New York and the City of London.

Lauren has been leading the Malins Group since 2008, focused on the company’s long-term investment and short-term re-positioning strategy; where value can be added through development, regeneration and active management. Matthew

Matthew Baker

Financial Controller

Matthew was appointed in 2014. A graduate in Business Administration from the University Of Bath, he subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant whilst working in a large UK practice, and is a fellow of the ICAEW.

Prior to joining The Malins Group he held a key financial role on the management team of a rapidly expanding Gym operator.

Matthew is responsible for the finance function and financial reporting within the group, and will also work with the team to accelerate the 10 year vision.

KAREN

Karen Woods

RESIDENTIAL ACCOUNTS MANAGER

Karen holds the AAT qualification and is also ACCA part qualified. Karen has full responsibility for the Rental Ledger function across the Portfolio, along with other ad hoc project work. Karen works closely with our Financial Controller and Portfolio Manager

Nora Keating

Commercial Accounts Manager

Nora has 8 years’ experience in Property management finance. She is responsible for the finance aspect of the Commercial portfolio at Malins.
Nora also has many years’ experience in finance in various other industries. She also assists the Financial Controller.

Mark Silvey

Portfolio Manager

Mark joined The Malins Group following 9 years working in Lettings and Property Management for both corporate and independent agents.

Mark manages the investment portfolio, working outside agencies as well as our internal development and accounts teams. Mark is supported by Rachael, business assistant.

Robert Holmes

Facilities Management Logistics

Robert has 25 years of experience in accounts receivable, credit control and account management, across a range of industries.
Robert is responsible for maintaining our commercial properties, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met and is our first point of call for tenants.
Robert prides himself on ensuring all queries are resolved quickly, efficiently and that all rents and charges are paid to terms.

Rachael Islip

Business Assistant

Rachael is responsible for office administration, accounts and general team support, including both portfolio and development. She has considerable experience having spent over 20 years in administrator roles including property management, finance and advertising.

Josh Stratton

ACQUISITION AND ASSET MANAGEMENT

Josh joined The Malins Group following 2 years with a high end property developer in central London. Josh is responsible for acquisitions and procurement management, along with supporting the development team across all construction and regeneration projects.

David Lawson-Brown

Construction Manager

David is responsible for leading on site construction for The Malins Group. Having worked for 17 years in the industry, developing from a carpenter to site management, David manages both our in house and contracted builds and has overall responsibility for Heath and Safety.

Laura Pearce

Development Project Co-ordinator

Laura joined our team in August 2023 and has over 20 years’ experience in administrator/co-ordinator roles including finance and building services.

Laura works closely with our site managers, construction team, contract admin and QS and co-ordinates the development team across all construction and regeneration projects.
