Originally qualifying as a Chartered Auctioneer & Estate Agent having been articled to local surveyors & valuers; Malcom is a true entrepreneur. He has had additional and diverse business interests throughout his career, including nursing homes, restaurants, publishing interests and Southern England’s first and largest corporate indoor karting centre.

Lauren

Lauren Atkins

Managing Director

Lauren has been leading the Malins Group since 2008, focused on the company’s long-term investment and short-term re-positioning strategy; where value can be added through development, regeneration and active management. She drives growth via acquisition and development, across both business divisions, with a passion for design, architecture, and planning.
Lauren is the Patron of charity Aurora New Dawn and previously held senior leadership positions at numerous blue chip companies in Switzerland, New York and the City of London.

Lauren has been leading the Malins Group since 2008, focused on the company’s long-term investment and short-term re-positioning strategy; where value can be added through development, regeneration and active management. Matthew

Matthew Baker

Financial Controller

Matthew was appointed in 2014. A graduate in Business Administration from the University Of Bath, he subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant whilst working in a large UK practice, and is a member of the ICAEW.

Prior to joining The Malins Group he held a key financial role on the management team of a rapidly expanding Gym operator.

Matthew is responsible for the finance function and financial reporting within the group, and will also work with the team to accelerate the 10 year vision.

Lucy Edwards

Construction and Design Assistant

Lucy graduated from her role as Business Administration Apprentice in 2014, Lucy now works closely with our site managers, construction team and QS, supporting the build and design functions, and The Malins Group Design Studio.

In 2017 Lucy achieved a diploma with The British Academy of Interior Design.

Mark Silvey

Senior Property Manager

Mark joined The Malins Group following 9 years in corporate and independent Lettings and Property Management where he gained his NFOPP qualifications.

Mark manages the investment portfolio, working closely with outside agencies as well as internal portfolio accounts and is supported by Lisa, business assistant.

KAREN

Karen Woods

Portfolio Accounts

Karen holds the AAT qualification and has full responsibility for the Sales Ledger function across the Portfolio. Karen works closely with our Financial Controller and Portfolio Manager

Lisa Bradshaw

Business Assistant

Lisa has 14 years of cross industry experience with a broad background and knowledge in sales, marketing and commercial management. Lisa’s core responsibilities include portfolio management, and land acquisition support.

Karen Jones

Office Assistant

Karen is responsible for office management, accounts and general office support. She has considerable experience having spent in excess of 10 years with a facilities management company, held a key middle management role in education as well as roles in export sales and life, pension & mortgage sales/administration.

Sarah Gibbon

Design Studio Coordinator

Sarah moved into the property industry 14 years ago in association with the CEO Jonathan Goldstein (Olswang) to Heron International (Gerald Ronson). What followed was her passion for property, interior design and art and she has continued to work in creative industries. Sarah has developed a property portfolio and has been actively involved in design and re-design for high profile and bespoke projects.
